  1. Project Engineer: (Job #MEPEWEB ):

    2 positions. Develop and Analyze Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) applications for automotive clients to study coupled fluid flow, thermal and structural characteristics of components, sub-systems, and systems. Use CAD geometry to construct models for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Method (FEA) analysis. Perform dynamic CFD analysis to study fuel economy and drivability, and provide engineering directions to product design. Interpret and analyze simulation results, and provide recommendations for engineering product design changes. Evaluate and analyze laboratory measurements taken on hydraulic subsystems. Perform engineering assessment on the results of the computer models, correlate with physical test models and perform studies to verify the design changes using CAD and CFD software models.

    Requirements:

    • Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its foreign educational equivalent.
    • 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Research Engineer or Engine Design Engineer. Experience must include conducting laboratory testing using heat transfer and fluid flow analysis.

  2. CAE/CFD Application Engineer (Job #CAE2MRGEW):

    Analyze, design, develop, and modify computer applications software for automotive clients related to engineering and computer simulation processes for Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to study fluid flow behavior and temperature distributions on components, sub-systems and systems. Analyze, design, develop, implement and test applications for product life cycle management, and create engineering databases with web-enabled infrastructures.   4. GUI Application Technical Specialist (Job # GAT1MTYEW) :

    Consult with clients in the automotive industry to define their mechanical engineering and computer systems and applications needs. Analyze, design, and develop applications for a variety of controls and modules, including graphics and graphic control, in order to meet clients? requirements. Design and maintain Graphical User Interface (GUI) to meet users? requests, as well as develop software tools for both general and niche applications. Write robust and modularized software code. Maintain a log of version control for product release. Manage bug fixes using the Bugzilla tracking system. Maintain all source codes through Version Control System (VCS) graphics and graphing control to display data in both 1D and 3D chart and geometry views.

Utilize IC3M and Star-CD to analyze designs and recommend changes to designers for improved performance and fuel economy. Provide direction and training to customers. Conduct CFD evaluation and analysis of Air Intake Systems, optimizing port (intake and exhaust) designs, including collecting CAD data, meshing in ICEM-CFD or ANSA, and solving in Fluent or Star-CD.
